DCASE 2021 - SELD

I co-organized the sound event localization and detection (SELD) task in DCASE 2021 along with Archontis Politis and Tuomas Virtanen and Daniel Krause. This year we collaborated with Antoine Deleforge and Prerak Srivastava from Inria Nancy Grand-Est.

We extended the 2020 version of the SELD task dataset to have directional interferences and more overlapping sound events of the same class. The poster attached below presents some quick highlights of the task. More about the challenge can be read on the official website.
